Daler Singh, otherwise called Daler Mehndi, is an Indian artist, musician, creator and record maker. He is credited with making Bhangra famous around the world, and promoting Indian popular music free of Bollywood music.

He was conceived in Patna, Bihar. In 1991, he shaped his own gathering. A.J Jaspal of IPCA gave Daler an expert set up and advanced him. In 1994, Jaspal sent Daler to contend at the yearly Voice of Asia International Ethnic and Pop Music Contest at Azia Dynasys in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He spoke to India and was made a decision about second among 200 contestants.

Daler Mehndi is credited for making a classification called "Rabbabi", which is a blend of Thumri,Sufi and shake and making an instrument called "Swar Mandir" which is an instrument that joins impacts from the Rabab, Swarmandal and Tanpura. The instrument was made by Sanjay Rikhi Ram from Delhi and was propelled on 10 February 2012 by the Indian old-style music maestro, Bharat Ratna awardee Pandit Ravi Shankar.
